2008 – The Year Of Social Media, WordPress, Google and Twitter For Internet Marketers

In a few moments time, we’ll be welcoming the New Year 2009 and and I must say, it has been a hell of a ride for internet and affiliate marketers for the past 1 year of 2008.

A Look Back In 2008

This is the year that many internet marketers saw the evolution of many areas (in random order) like:

  • Social Networking Sites like Facebook that are helping many internet marketers establish their reputations and internet marketing services in a social community manner.
  • Blogging – almost all successful internet marketers own a blog or two or three and using them to climb on the Search Engine Rankings for their personal advice, tips and reviews.
  • WordPress Plugins – the ever-famous WordPress Blogging Platform and the many Plugins that are created in the market now to help bring your blogging to a higher level
  • Twitter – when you are just about to familiarize yourself with Blogging, there is a new service called MicroBlogging which you need to get a hand of being able to think smart and blog about your services within 140 characters.
