Going Viral Tweet Tweet On Twitter Online System And ViralTweet

Recently I posted a tweet on twitter that there seems to be a trend of some online marketers are creating viral tweet scripts and system to help increase the number of followers to any twitter account (literally More Followers = More Exposure, agree?).

Some of these online marketers who created some amazing viral twitter script and systems are

A Brief History Of These Twitter Scripts And System

The first script that I came across was the Viral Tweets Script created by Ryan Wade and amazingly it caught my attention.

Why so? This script played to the potential of adding followers to the twitter account of the creator and at the same time spreading a message that contains an affiliate link to the script and at the same time creating curiosity towards the product. Truly an effective viral marketing move!

Next came about the Twitter Online System created by Alvin Phang of GatherSuccess.com. Apparently the system worked wonders for him and increased his May 2009 earnings of US$6,228.75 to US$30,516.29 In June 2009. So, who says you can’t make good money online? Alvin Phang has proven this very well!

Entrecard Is Clearing Up The House

Entrecard.com is implementing a spring cleaning of its network by the 1st July.

Those who are dangerously affected will be those who are using “Quick Drop” aka “Power Drop” pages.

If you do not know what that is, simply put, a blank page with an Entrecard widget, sometimes with some extra junk like an ad in there too.

This move is crucial as Entrecard is preventing the users to make use of these techniques to earn quick and huge amount of credits.

Do not worry, if you are operating a blog and using the widgets in the blog, this is perfectly safe – they just do not wish to see users creating a blank page with only the Entrecard Widgets in it.

My personal advice: It does not pay to be greedy!

If You Can Clone, You Can Be A Super Affiliate For Butterfly Reports As Well!

I’ll like to share a marketing tip that one Super Affiliate is doing to help get more people to join Butterfly Reports through his affiliate link, which you can do so for other membership programs that will pay you.

I will try to narrate the situation to you through my “imaginary friend – Mr. Cake”

Hi everybody, I’m Mr. Cake! A little brief introduction about myself before I tell you the story of how I still get duped to joining Butterfly Reports and you can have the last laugh!

An introduction about me is that – I know all of you marketers out there are always hungry for many innocent people like me to join or buy through many of your affiliate links. I MUST tell you – I am not a no-brainer! If I am to buy something – I’ll rather buy the stuff directly from the main site and not through any of those “cloaked”, “disguised”, “Your website recommends” link… Yucks! I know all the tricks up your sleeve! And yes, I also do know about the cookie being stuck in my computer system!

Despite my haughtiness, I must admit there are still many good internet marketers who know this trade inside out and have many mysterious tricks in store – and that’s how I manage to get duped into joining Butterfly Reports system through an affiliated link.

My good friend and buddy here, Dexter, has posted many good posts promoting his link for Butterfly Reports. I stick to my principles and refuse to join through his link. (He hates for me that!) I know this system is good and never too late to get in! So I decided to do a search for “Butterfly Reports” on Google and this is what I got:

You can see that the first link is the actual link to the Main Site. I have clicked before Dexter’s Link and somehow I know his affiliate cookie is in my system. So no-no! Squidoo… It’s just another promotion page with an affiliate link. So a big No! Ok… How about the third link? Butterfly.org? Hmmm… and there is a blog linking to this domain name. Could be Mike Filsaime protecting his product trademark and have gotten a new domain extension to promote, together with his blog. Worth clicking… (high chances of no cookie as well!)

This is the new site I’ve clicked.

Looks the same as per the actual main site. No affiliate links in sight. How about clicking the tabs to learn more…? What, No access! Mike is good and evil! Fine with me! I’ve read enough to know what is Butterfly Reports all about. I am ready to join! Ok, one last test to go. Any affiliate links within the “Register Here” link? Nope… Seems normal to me! So here goes… I am clicking the link!

So here I am, the link is different from before (which looks like “http://www.butterflyreports.com/axz/”). I am at the main site but deeper inside. Ready Information and a link for me to sign up! Which I did!

So this is the boo-boo which you can start laughing off because when I click on”Register Here” link from Butterfly.org, that link contains the Super Affiliate’s link! I end my story and will leave Dexter to explain what has happened!

Thanks, Buddy Cake! So what has happened is simple:

1. The Super Affiliate has actually cloned (getting a .org and copying the source code) and make it 30% different to the actual site – same header graphics and layout but a bit more information.
2. As mentioned, this site is still in Beta. Mike Filsaime could be split-testing his site for results or this site belongs to Rod Beckwith.
3. The other links are not working because the sign-up and marketing system is at the main .com site and repeating the same information may just affect your SEO ranking.
4. When you click on the Register Here, the affiliate link is masked well within, not the usual cloaking or “website recommends”
5. Also the existence of a blog can sometimes justify that this site is being updated constantly.
6. Lastly, promotions are everywhere. Any individuals can simply gather enough information through the emails to know what is Butterfly Reports all about. Joining is a matter of time but a matter of “whose link to join” so in this case of disillusion wins!
