God’s Word = The Next Big Thing In Affiliate Marketing?
Disclaimer: this post has something to do with Religion and the Bible… if you are uncomfortable with the content (my apologies), you may wish to leave this site, else do enjoy how God’s Word can help you with your affiliate marketing business.
The Nature Of The Affiliate Marketing Business
Affiliate Marketing can have its ups and downs at times.
When the time is good, you get to see lots of traffic to your site and lots of commission going into your bank account; When the time is bad, you grumbled and started to say all the negative things to yourself and you start to turn to professional internet marketing services (ebooks, mentoring) for better guidance and inspirations to help you in your affiliate marketing business. You are doing this with the hope that things will turn out better!
What If God Is An Internet Marketer?

The Bible - courtesy of sxc.hu
If God is an internet marketer today, God’s Word (The Bible) will be the all-time top selling product and the affiliate marketers can be sure that they will stand to profit much! God will be the mentor that you can turn to for all the online marketing advice.
Why Is That So?
If you have a Bible with you right now, I will be doing some reference to some of the Bible verses, that can be quite relevant to the nature of our online business. How you will be reading in the following lines will be:
- The normal stuff you’ll say to yourself when times are bad and are going against you!
- What is the advice that God will give to you?
- Where to refer to, in your bible, for that actual advice!
Are You Ready? Let’s go!
You say: “It’s impossible for me to carry on with whatever I am doing now”
- God says: “All things are possible!”
- You can turn to Luke 18:27 for the bible verses
You say: “I can’t figure things out in my business”
- God says: “I will direct your steps”
- You can turn to Proverbs 3:5-6
You say: “I feel all alone in this online business venture”
- God says: “I will never leave you or forsake you”
- You can turn to Hebrews 13:5
You say: “I am not smart enough to figure out this business”
- God says: “I give you wisdom”
- You can turn to I Corinthians :30
You say: “I can’t manage my time and my business”
- God says: “I will supply all your needs”
- You can turn to Philippians 4:19
You say: “It’s not worth it – I am not cut out for online business”
- God says: “It will be worth it”
- You can turn to Romans 8:28
You say: “I can’t do it – Copywriting, Follow-ups, Creating Your Own Products…”
- God says: “You can do all things”
- You can turn to Philippians 4:13
Here are some more bible verses that you can turn to in general:
- If you want to be fruitful, you can read John 15
- When you feel down and out, you can read Romans 8:31
- When you want courage for a task, you can read Joshua 1
- When you think of investments and returns, you can read Mark 10
- If discouraged about your work, you can read Psalm 37
- For assurance, you can read Mark 8:35
- For reassurance, you can read Psalm 145:18
How’s that? Do you feel much better now, knowing that you can have God’s as your personal mentor in your online marketing and using the God’s word as your source for better tips and techniques?

Dexter,
This is a good (I mean “God) post
Thank you for posting this. It’s good to hear someone else mention God concerning their internet business.
I have been in internet marketing for a while and it seems that God always brings me back to Psalm 1:1-3 when I get frustrated or it seems like I am barraged with a bunch of wild claims from scammers.
Just to paraphrase a few points from these verses:
“Psalm 1:1-2 Blessed is the man that does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly…but his delight is in the law of the LORD…”
There’s so many greedy people in this industry who make wild claims and sometimes deliberately misleads people just to make a dollar. That’s sad but that’s why I seek out honest and ethical marketers (like Jimmy D. Brown) to get my counsel and instruction. I just learned of him this year (as far as his Christianity) so I’m anxious to hear more from him.
“Psalm 1:3″ And he (speaking of he person who doesn’t listen to the ungodly) shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water…and whatsoever he does shall prosper.”
How can we ignore a promise like that?!
If more people would stop listening to these scammers and start listening to godly businessmen and women, this industry would have a better reputation and all of us would prosper accordingly.
Just my “two cents.”

This post reminded me of John Goodman’s Cyclops character in “Oh Brother Where Art Thou” in relation to selling the Good Book in times of woe and want.
I’ve always found Proverbs to have some good common sense business advice.
