How Does Skimlinks Work To Make Money For You On Your Sites?
At this point of writing, Skimlinks has introduced two types of products that you can implement on your sites:
- SkimLinks – convert any normal product or merchant links in your content into its equivalent affiliate links as a user clicks on it
- SkimWords – automatically turn product references in your content into affiliate links where the user can buy the item
Therefore if you are running sites that focus on product reviews or mentions and niche blogs, e.g. personal shopping experience or wish-list for a certain product, appliances, clothing, and more… you can make use of Skimlinks to monetize your content to relevant affiliate programs and products.
This Income Stream can be useful for those affiliate marketers who are unable to get into those affiliate networks where they may have strict approval process, e.g. not enough relevant site content or location restriction.
