My First Experience With Setting Up Products For Resale – Copywriters League
I am excited for the last few days as I have just uploaded my Sale and Download pages up to start my very first resale site – Copywriters League (do check it out and try and give me some of your feedback on how to improve!).
Copywriters League Is Not Totally Unique To Me…
I must be frank and truthful to you. If you do a search for Copywriters League online today, you will find that Affilicore is not the only site promoting it, there are actually quite a few other online marketing sites promoting it as well and with their own domain name catered to these products.
How I Seek To Be Different For My Copywriters League…
The product range being offered by others and from Affilicore is totally the same. Even the price is the same! But I seek to be different from the others and is that I offer two of my own researched bonuses to sweeten the deal:

- Access To More Than 70 Ready-To-Fill-The-Blanks Lead-Ins
Are they attractive enough as bonuses? That I will have to depend on your honest feedback.
My Personal Experience In Setting Up The Site
After I have gotten hands on the products and web pages sometime last week, I would say the initial experience is that:
- The products are already created,
- The sales copy are already well-written,
- The download pages are also ready…
I would just need to upload all the stuff through my FTP program and I should be up and ready to bring in the sales!
But My Other Considerations…
And I was thinking to myself, if I am doing just that (upload everything and pray for sales), I would be like most of the online marketers – taking things for granted. Will it work for me in the long run – the answer will be a definite no!
Therefore I took into consideration some other factors like:
- My first consideration was to wonder if I should lower down the price to like $27 or even down to $9.97. My conclusion and my feel were to remain the price as it is – $37. The reasons being that by lowering the price down would belittle the value of the product and also this will invite a price war (other competitors lowering the price just to bring in the business)
- My second consideration was to decide how to sweeten the whole deal since the price is as per it is. My conclusion was to throw in some additional bonuses that’s related to the current product range and to add on to the value of what you will be investing. Which I did and I am glad to say that the experience of researching and re-creating for the bonuses is tremendously good. The excitement was also on how to blend in the bonuses as part of the site.
- My third consideration was for the site safety especially download theft. I have done my part on research and have introduced changes to my .htacess page and robots.txt. I have even renamed all my download pages so as not to be easily detectable by most search engines. Will that be working for or against me? I have yet to find out! *cross finger*
It was for all these three considerations that took me nearly a week just to set up everything in proper.
My Last Round Of Confirmation Before All Systems Ready To Go
As per Friday morning, I have uploaded everything and I spent the next one hour just to test everything from the Paypal Buttons, to the Resources Page and to the links just to see that everything is linked properly. I would say till now, everything is a-okay!
So, finally, everything is good to go and it’s time to open for business.

In Summary
I have a good experience in learning how to set up a site with total personal control. Though the products and sales pages are not personally created (I believe this is still acceptable as most successful online marketers would still suggest that you outsource these), I would still say at least you have some experience in making sure everything goes well according to the standard procedure of
- Sales Page -> Product Ordering Form -> Payment Processing -> Redirect to Download Page
If you are an online marketer as well, I do feel that you should have at least a few hands-on on creating your products (affiliate, master resale rights, or personally created) for sale and learn through the sales process. If you are doing so, good luck on it!
