Who Is Mike Cowles…
You can read his personal blog here. A web designer and a very enthusiastic Internet Marketer (you should steal a glimpse at the many niche sites he is currently running within the videos). He is very much an affiliate marketer and a Product Creator – he does most of the work on his own, without much outsourcing. Professional wise – after the video run-through, certainly yes!
Now You Know Him… Back To Thirty Day Marketing Video Series…
If you have opted for the digital version, you will be brought over to the download page site like below and do be prepared as
- the videos are not arranged in orders (I had a hard time picking up what goes next…)
- Mike Cowles speaks a bit slow in most of the videos which you have to endure. You also have to listen well and hard, take notes if can, as there’s no slides with words and most of the videos do not have a mouse cursor to let you follow along…
Interesting Finds In The Videos
Though most of the contents are rather straightforward for someone (maybe I am referring to myself) who have been doing marketing, there are a few quite interesting finds which most can benefit like:
- In the domain name videos, you get access to a free tool that you can use to help you get domain name suggestions. So no more scratching of heads in getting a good domain name. Also flaws of using a Domain Name Registrar that you should take note of.
- Autoresponder section. What’s the common autoresponder service that most marketer will recommend? You guess it right, Aweber! Or even GetReponse? Ok, you are right as well. But Mike Cowles will actually share with you another service very similar to Aweber and you can instantly transfer your database over to the new service and save on the monthly cost (if you have a huge list)
- Want to get more attention to your email messages? Try out this *little graphic trick* that even Tellman Knudson is using as well to make the emails stand out from the usual Internet marketers. Another trick that you can use to instill trust and memory of what you really are.
- If you have been doing your own sales copy – do you know that you do not always have to use only positive benefits of your product to showcase? This is a psychological tactic.

General Overview Of The Training Videos
Targeted to those who are starting out. These videos give you a run-through. From going to the actual site, to the signing up, to the processing and to the setting up, you will be shown all.
You can also notice that Mike Cowles is without the hype. He will not brag that you will make money with his products and he is not even promoting that. Basically what he is doing is to share what he knows so that you can have a better experience in doing online and affiliate marketing.
The videos are not 100% perfect. Do not expect to see no flaws. You can hear Mike Cowles’ deep breathing and even notice a few boo-boos during the recording. No one is perfect and your product does not have to be as well. As long as your content is good, you provide good value, you will definitely be given a thumb up!
Reminders For Those Who Are Already Doing Well…
- Always do tests for your email messages so as to ensure that they are sent out and you are seeing what your readers are actually reading.
- Try to have a P.S at end of your email. You will never know how much more conversions you can get with this technique.
- Make use of the tools provided by your Autoresponder services to craft out nicely formatted emails. Nobody likes to read paragraphs that are too wide.
