What Is The Benefit Of Good Search Engine Optimization or SEO?

If you are new to online marketing, you would be given many advices that you need to have good Search Engine Optimization or commonly known as SEO for your sites so that you will get high ranking in the search engines. And since that search engines pick up content (mainly words) so there’s a direct relation between this two.

What Does This Mean?

So if your content (containing keywords) is relevant and matches the search phrase done on a search engine, you get the benefit of a top position in the search engines.

And the benefits from a top search position because of good SEO:

- Higher Clicks = More Exposure

- Higher Traffic = Higher Chances Of Exposure

- Higher Exposure = More Chances For Sales Conversion

And to have good SEO is not an easy task as you understand how and what Search Engines want from you, that’s why there’s many guides (e.g. Aaron Wall’s SEO Book), services (e.g. SEOLinkWheelers.com) and software (e.g. Daniel Tan’s SEOPressor) to help you. You do not need to be an expert in this field – just choose one that’s comfortable to you and your budget. (*Note: I have chosen Daniel Tan’s SEOPressor…)

Daniel Tan’s SEOPressor To Target My Chosen Keyword – Search Engine Optimization

To effectively test if Daniel Tan’s SEOPressor is effective, I have decided to use it to target my chosen keyword of Search Engine Optimization (since this tool is all about SEO)

And I shall be looking at:

  • my Google Analytics Results if there are any traffic generated through that search phrase
  • various search engines to see if this post has been effectively ranked in the first 3 pages (very greedy!) when I do a search for “Search Engine Optimization”
  • Sales Conversion? Depends on how effective is this SEO tool and how convincing this post is as well. If this is good, there’s a high chance that you can start selling in-text links (check out my Make Money page)

Search Engine Optimization

Okay I shall underline my keyword of Search Engine Optimization on one of the paragraphs above.

For the content wise, I will give you a brief summary and overview of what this WordPress Plugin can do for you as mentioned in the sales page:

My Personal Overview:

  • In terms of its Analyzing Capabilities and calculating the SEO scores, this WordPress Plugin does what it say
  • And for the suggestions given, they are good but somehow I feel that it may affect your personal style of writing, e.g. I do not really underline my keywords for all my posts or the usage of H1 and H2 tags as well. And for the sake of effective Search Engine Optimization, you have to break your usual style so there’s a certain level of getting used to.
  • To effectively make good use of this tool, you may have to spend slightly more time to follow the suggestions and followed by tweaking your post. So you may have to be in a good mind to do so!

My Search Engine Optimization Score

At this ending part, I shall also provide my SEO score provided by this WordPress Plugin. With this score and if it’s high, it would mean that this post should have a high ranking in the search engine. And my current score is:

Seems like a very good score. So I shall wait to see if this will help me to rank high!

There’s a free version of SEOpressor available at Bloggerhigh.com that does exactly what Daniel Tan’s version does, but without cost. Grab it now, you can ever rebrand it to use your logos etc by changing a few lines in the header.
