Seven Little Ways To Give Values Back In Affiliate Marketing

The whole economy is in turmoil, stock markets don’t seem to have the energy to climb up and more people are keeping their money under the pillow than with banks.

When I first started knowing how to do business as a 19 years old kiddo and playing my part serving the nation, the first business model that I came across was the Network Marketing model or known to many as Multi-Level Marketing. To many, they still prefer to call it Pyramid Scheme Selling.

My few encounters with the model are that this business model will withstand the ups and downs of the market. Nonetheless, after so many years (8 years and counting…) of not getting involved in it, my former companies are still doing very much well and better than before even in this current times of financial turmoil.

The one reason that I can think of of being sustainable in that business is that – the business gives value back to the clients. Once the clients appreciate the value they have received, they return and the repeat business starts.

So if I based it in a Formula, it will be Value => Repeated Business => Money => Sustainability.

Now if we focus on the topic of value that an affiliate marketing or internet marketing business can offer, do you think this business model is sustainable as well, in any market situations?

The blog income report for the month of September for both John Chow and Alvin Phang are out, and their results (income) are amazing. I am glad to mention that both individuals are successful bloggers and internet marketers who give true value back, every time, to their readers. Am I also one of those individuals that give back value to you? You are my best judge!

So How Can We Give Value In Affiliate Marketing?

After blogging over the last 9 months and observing all the internet marketers, I guess, the better way to give real value online is through providing a sincere solution, think of long term relationships, to problems that your readers or clients may have.

Think about this…

The Internet is all about information and people go online to seek information in search engines, blogs, forums. Through works of miracles (think SEO), you get visitors coming into your site. Some will leave in couple of minutes later and never return, some stayed slightly longer, some bookmarked your site and return later and some simply adore your website right from the start.

So this is how you can start giving values back in Seven Little Ways:

  1. Be Their Friend. You recognized their problems, able to relate it well with them and is more than willing to provide a solution.
  2. Share Willingly. You are willing to share information, with not much obligations needed from your readers.
  3. Be The Expert. You, on your part and passion, provide your own expertise knowledge to them, to help solve part of their problems.
  4. Be The More Hardworking One. You, as an affiliate marketer, do your own research for a good affiliate product and work along with your readers to reap the most benefits out of the product.
  5. Be Prepared. Some may leave you, once their problems are solved. Some may continue to stick to you to learn from you. But if you give true value, those who have left will return to you again.
  6. Always Be There. Though you may not need to be physically there with your readers, a few of the ways of doing so can be updating your blog or even dropping your readers with a personal email.
  7. Think Of No Money, Think Of Value. The truth is you, as an affiliate marketer, is out here to make some money online. But when you are thinking of earning money all the time, you will feel very miserable because if any time your sales are low, the way you present yourself online is obvious. Instead think of how to provide value back to your readers and clients. From there, money will come naturally to you.

There you go, my seven little ways of giving values back to your readers as an affiliate marketer. If you have more personal ones to contribute, please feel free to leave behind your comments.
