In general is a membership program is a program whereby you or your potential clients would sign up for either a monthly newsletter on the latest marketing techniques like Social Media Marketing or Viral Marketing or a 52 weeks training course on teaching a certain technique.

As quoted by Jimmy D. Brown, is that a Membership Program is the best business model with the ultimate benefit being that all you need is to find a customer ONCE and they continue spending money with you over and over again automatically. A logical sense to understanding this is that if you can find 500 members to sign up a $20 per month (easily affordable) membership, you will be getting an easy $10,000 monthly profit.
Comparing this $20 per month to a single sale product in the normal range of $97 to a $1997, you tend to control or grab lesser market share with the latter approach. Do you agree on that? Even if you do grab hold of a few client who bought the $97 product, when will it be the next time you get to have this kind of sale again?
If I do manage to grab hold of a client who is willing to commit a 1 year program (e.g. a $20 per month membership), my profit is easily more than that of a single sale. You get my point?

1. Apply The Concept Of Free (also The Concept Of Greed)

2. Apply The Concept Of Valuable
Do you have some marketing products that’s of value? A product that is already rocking the online market? A product that can easily fetch you $97 to a few thousands worth of sale? That very product will be used to be marketed and given as a Free Resource!
For example, Joel Comm gave away his updated version Adsense Secrets 4.0 free and Mike Filsaime just gave away his Butterfly Marketing 2.0 Home Study Course. These products are very valuable and these Marketers are willing to apply the Concept Of Free in exchange for your Membership.
3. Apply The Concept Of Inconvenience
People are getting busier everyday. On one hand they are trying to earn a living from a full-time day job, on the other hand, they want to learn how to make a living online.
By the time they are getting a hand on what you are offering in your subscription, they could already be in the 5th or 6th issue. And if what you are offering in your subscription is what these people are keen to know, these very people will find it inconvenience to stop the subscription!
4. Apply The Concept Of Word-Of-Mouth
People like to tell people the experience that they have. Imagine the fact that your product, once purchased by many, has helped many in achieving their dreams and goals, and now that you are giving your product free! Don’t you think these people whom you have helped will be more than glad to help promote your product?
Even better, how about an affiliate program that comes along with this promotion?
5. Apply The Concept Of Limited Stocks
Give words that you are giving away your items to a selected number of people only and that after this number, you may stop the whole exercise and never to continue.
In reality, this may not really be the case, even if you do reach your limit, Clients will be glad to know that you still care about them and are willing to release more – just for them! But remember, do remember not to overdo this as many may just feel that you are only out to get their subscriptions!
6. Apply What You Know As An Online Marketer
Create
- your squeeze page to capture all the email addresses who are interested,
- your autoresponder series to do a follow-up with these potential customers
- your bonuses to move them a bit more
- and your sale pages to touch them and finally make them commit an action!
